A ritual is not just a
religious ceremony, held in a church or temple. It is an act that whatever you earnestly do, you deem as being
sacred, divine and/or revered---in other words, what you love, care about and respect. This can include your body, a tree, working, exercising, where you live---anything.
In essence, most human beings
perform some kind of ritual every day, and these include many of the Universal
principles that are designed to keep your frequency at high levels on a regular
basis.
Washing your face, taking a
shower or a bath can be considered to be rituals, of sort. The more attention
you pay to this act---the more spiritual feeling and care you put into it---the
more heightened an experience it becomes; thus, the more elevated is your
frequency. Water, in and of itself, is a spiritual essence.
Taking a few minutes to relax
and revamp yourself by deep breathing
is another excellent “ritual”. The more you focus
on your breathing and the positive effect it is having on your inner and outer
systems, the more aligned you become with higher energies---thus,
raising your frequency.
When you regard such acts as
bathing, swimming, deep breathing, writing, doing yoga or even ironing, as sacred periods in your day, you may see
them as your personal rituals, in which you incorporate spirit power into your daily routine. The more you center yourself
and focus on the task at hand, and the more care, love and positive thoughts
you concurrently imbue your entire being with, the greater the effect those
acts---rituals---will have on your
life, day after day.
Something very important to
always keep in mind is this: No matter what you do, throughout your
day---setting the table, waiting in line, talking to your mate, shopping,
getting dressed, watering the plants……include
spirit in your present mode. Make your life a series of beautiful rituals.
You don’t need to talk about them, and you don’t need to do anything
particularly different---at least not outwardly. Just connect with “that higher you”,
be grateful for those moments; take any tedium out and replace it with
thanks….and a smile.
